Democrats Meeting: City Hall Project

Democrats Meeting: City Hall Project

From:  Johanna O’Kelley
President, Democrats of Napa Valley

Proposed City Hall

New alternatives are being pursued to the four-story, 130,000-square-foot combination city hall and police station plan unveiled nearly two years ago, which had a price tag of approx. $144 million.

The Napa City Council will review up to 7 possible new options for the newly renamed project, now called the Napa City Hall project.

This is your time to weigh in on the final 2-3 options being considered!

Location/Time: Democrats of Napa Valley Meeting, July 29, 5:30pm
Napa Women’s Club, 218 Franklin Street, Napa.

Where will it be built?  Will the law enforcement and civilian departments be separate?  Will there be temporary headquarters for staff?  What will be built on the existing superblock? Is there any housing being incorporated into the thought process?

Our speakers will be:
Scott Sedgley, Napa Vice MayorMary Luros, Napa City Council

Steve Potter, Napa City Manager

Vin Smith, Napa Community Development Director

Heather Maloney,  Napa Administrative Services Manager

Larry Kamer,  Kamer Communications for The Plenary Group
